Streszczenie zasad
216
“Alea iacta est” (The die is cast) – 3 dice, 216 possible combinations. The game combines classic dice-rolling luck with strategic dice manipulation to fulfill objective cards.
GAME COMPONENTS
- 70 Objective cards - There are always 4 public objectives on display, which you complete for points...and possibly bonuses!
- 30 Help cards - Earn one when you FAIL to complete an objective on your turn OR in lieu of bonus points when you DO complete an objective.
- 3 Dice - A maximum of 2 rolls is available per turn (an initial roll and an optional re-roll).
GAMEPLAY
On your turn:
1. Roll the Dice
The player rolls all 3 dice.
2. Complete an Objective and Claim a Bonus (Optional)
If you fulfill an objective without re-rolling or using any help cards, you can claim the point value of the card PLUS its bonus: additional points OR a help card.
~ To claim an objective card, the dice must match the requirements of the card exactly.
~ Points and bonuses are locate at the top left corner of the card.
You may opt to keep rolling rather than complete an objective at this point.
3. Reroll / Use Help Cards (Optional)
You may choose up to 3 dice to re-roll.
You can also play as many help cards from your hand as you like to strategically manipulate the dice results.
You can re-roll and/or use help cards in any order. This is your last chance!
4. Complete an Objective or Take a Help Card
The final rolled result is compared with the face-up objective cards in the display.
~ If you fulfilled a card, earn its points.
~ If you didn't, take a help card.
~ Again you have the option to take a help card instead of claiming an objective.
5. End of Turn
- A new objective is added to the display if there were only 3.
- Play passes clockwise.
End of the Game
The game end is triggered as soon as a specific point value has been earned (100 points by default), then the other players have a final turn.
The player with the highest total score wins the game.
SOLO VARIANT
The solo variant provides a virtual opponent (the AI). Instead of rolling dice, the AI automatically takes the LEAST valuable objective card from the center of the table and adds its points to its score.
Penalty for Failed Attempts
- If you fail to fulfill an objective card on your turn, the AI receives a 2nd objective card from the current display as a penalty.
End of the Game & Scoring
The game immediately ends as soon as your OR the AI reach 100 points. If your score is higher than the AI's, you won!
