Four Spirits of Nature– Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn– have been called to rescue the Sacred Tree of the Forest facing the devastating flames of Onibi…
In Living Forest, you play one of these four Spirits of Nature trying to save the Forest. You are not alone in this task, Guardian Animals have come together around the Circle of Spirits where you progress to help you. Each turn they bring precious elements, and if you manage to combine a good team of Guardian Animals, you can perform actions optimally. But beware, some of them are solitary and do not like to meet other fellows.
Each turn includes 3 phases:
Guardian Animals: All of the Spirits of Nature play at the same time. You draw and turn face up, one after the other, the Guardian Animal cards from your personal draw stack. You thus form the Animal Guardian Help Line. You can stop drawing cards whenever you want. However, if you reveal a card showing a third solitary symbol, then you must stop drawing cards. This card closes your Help Line.
Action: The Spirits of Nature play in turn. If your Help Line shows less than three solitary symbols (not canceled by gregarious symbols), you can then perform 2 different Actions. If your Help Line shows three solitary symbols (not canceled by gregarious symbols), you can then perform only 1 Action. The strength of an Action is determined by the number of corresponding Elements visible on the Guardian Animal cards on your Help Line and on your Forest individual board.
End of the turn:
Onibi attacks you: If some Fires remain in the center of the Circle of Spirits and you cannot resist them, then add the same number of Fire Varan cards to your discard stack as there are Fire tiles at the center of the Circle of Spirits.
Onibi attacks the Sacred Tree: Add as many Fires to the center of the Circle of Spirits as Guardian Animal cards were taken this turn.
The arrival of new Guardian Animals: Complete the Guardian Animal reserve by revealing as many new cards per level as there were cards taken this turn.

W każdej turze wnoszą cenne elementy, a jeśli uda ci się połączyć zgrany zespół Strażników, możesz optymalnie wykonywać akcje.
Ale uważaj, niektórzy z nich są samotnikami i nie lubią spotykać innych ludzi.
Każda tura obejmuje 3 fazy:
Strażnicy: wszystkie Duchy Natury grają w tym samym czasie.
Dobierasz i odkrywasz jedną po drugiej karty Strażników z włąsnego stosu dobierania.
W ten sposób tworzysz linię wsparcia Strażników.
Możesz przestać dobierać karty kiedy tylko chcesz.
Jeśli jednak odkryjesz kartę z trzecim pojedynczym symbolem, musisz przestać dobierać karty.
Ta karta zamyka twoją linię wsparcia.
Akcja: zagraj po kolei Duchy Natury.
Jeśli twoja linia wsparcia pokazuje mniej niż trzy pojedyncze symbole (nie anulowane przez symbole stadne), możesz wykonać 2 różne akcje.
Jeśli twoja linia wsparcia pokazuje trzy pojedyncze symbole (nie anulowane przez symbole stadne), możesz wykonać tylko 1 akcję.
Siła akcji jest określona przez liczbę odpowiadających jej elementów widocznych na kartach Strażników na twojej linii wsparcia oraz na indywidualnej planszy lasu.
Koniec tury:
Onibi cię atakuje: jeśli jakiś pożar pozostaje w środku kręgu Duchów i nie możesz im się oprzeć, dodaj taką samą liczbę kart Ognistych Waranów do swojego stosu odrzuconych, ile jest żetonów pożaru w środku kręgu Duchów.
Onibi atakuje Święte Drzewo: dodaj tyle pożarów do środka Kręgu Duchów, ile kart Strażników zostało wziętych w tej turze.
Pojawienie się nowych Strażników: uzupełnij rezerwę Strażników, odsłaniając tyle nowych kart na poziom, ile kart było wziętych w tej turze.
