I ran out of time in this game because the interface was so slow and lagging. Every time I placed a tile I waited a long time before it actually placed it . As a result It made me run out in of time and the player expelled me . This happened to me once already and now my karma points went from 55 to 28 . My karma points was deducted by -20 TWICE due to the same problem with carcassonne. I really like this game but has not been able to play it with the fear the same thing will happen again which further deduct my karma points. I just join this site in less than a month and I got so much karma points taken away from me. With less than 50 points, it is hard to join any table in any game. Now I understand the review my friends told me about how this site took karma points away too easily while it takes forever to gain just a little back. Please restore my karma point and fix the problem with carcassonne.

I also had this bug on Carcassonne #105384549. For me, I started a 2-player game, and then I couldn't place my first tile. The gray areas did not appear and my cursor would not move away from the 4-direction arrow.
I closed and reopened my Google Tab (Version 84.0.4147.105 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and the status was the same when re-entering.
I even tried (gasp) Microsoft Edge and logged in - and it was still the same.
I'm also not sure if this froze the chat, but my opponent never responded when I tried to concede the game. I explained to him that I was having technical issues but he never responded. I had no choice but to cancel the game.
Can this be corrected? I'd like my perfect reputation back - I work hard on this!

Twice or thrice it happened to me that Carcassonne game got stuck. Once I tried it on my IOS device. OS is 13.6. I got Karma penalty for none of my faults. I am usually a fas player. There seems a bug in the game or something. Refreshing didn’t solve anything. I made me lose more time instead. I don’t have a screenshot now but I’ll definitely take it if it happens again.

In the middle of the game everything froze. I am on a Mac OS. Refresh usually does the trick but not this time. It allowed to go back into the game, but still not play a tile. The timer kept going. I was able to let my oppenent know what was going on in chat. Tried refreshing again and it would not let me go back to the game (clicking on the red button did nothing.) I was informed I had abandoned the game.
The next game I started wouldn't let me join either. I logged out and restarted my browser (Firefox), but by that time the game had been cancelled. I logged out and left for a few hours. When I returned I was able to play normally again.
I don't really care about the karma points, they climb back up pretty fast. But this wasn't an issue with my network. Other pages opened fine. I don't know if you can cross reference the chat from that game to find exactly when it froze. Anyway, love the game and love the site. Thanks for all you do!!!

90% выходов из игры было по причине зависания сайта .. И я почти заметила закономерность.. Если до своего хода поставить тайтл на предложенное место , но другой игрок займет его и оставить в данном месте будет невозможно , сайт зависает . Спасает только открыть сайт с телефона и временно продолжить игру на нем . Через минут 5-10 отвисает сайт и его можно открыть заново. Но если телефона нет под рукой , сделать ничего невозможно и выкидывает из игры со штрафом.

On google chrome/ windows 10 game suddenly stuck on my turn and would not respond no matter how many times I tried to place a tile. (#132756774) Not my internet connection because I was able to get into game on another browser, however by the time I logged back in I had been expelled from game and lost my karma. First three days ago with the pc, yesterday night happened with my Samsung.
It frozen and you cannot do anything else. The time missing for your move freeze, and you cannot do anything.
I run out of time e lose the match so my rating is very bad now, and being a new player, this is a very bad thing. Hope could be reverse the penalties of both matches and that they will solve it as soon as possible.

I also had the same problem yesterday (everything freezes during my turn and I could not continue the game.) It happened when my opponent put his piece adjacent to the place I had put mine in advance for my next move. After his piece my place was no more valid for my piece. After his move I could no more do anything. I also got a penalty even though I did not end the game.

Same problem as "Hulina". I had placed a tile provisionally. Opponent placed a tile making my provisional placement no longer possible. Screen froze and I was unable to move the tile. Kicked out of game and penalized for excess time. This has happened to me twice.

I putted my tile already before my turn and then the player before me putted a volcano next to it so my tile didnt fit anymore.. the dragon showed up but then the page became unresponsive, i was unable to turn/move my tile even refresh didnt work, I think maybe related to the fact that my tile was already put before and the dragon showed up.. I have a screenshot if needed

I have had three games since yesterday completely freeze on me and nearly crash my chrome. I've cleared the cache and uninstalled intensive apps i dont use but its having no impact. I now have less than 50%.

Again! Getting a lower reputation because your Android app is bugged is really frustrating! I won't use anymore, and i'll uninstall. I cannot finish a Carcasonn game on it, and I don't want to try something else, because the same issue seems to always happen! After some time in the game, at one point nothing responds anymore, it's all froze and I cannot finish my game...

Playing any game - or for that matter, getting into this forum post. Using Firefox (latest version). When I click on a link it will suddenly stop responding. Then, sometimes Firefox says that the page is slowing down the PC and I can stop it. Sometimes it just locks up.
Last time I sat and watched, and Firefox started using ~1GB of memory a minute until it used all of the available memory. Used task manager and killed it at that point.
Windows 11 if that makes any difference...
Once I'm in a game it runs fine, it just seems to happen when I click on site links. Has been happening for the past 2 weeks now.

Game froze on my first play and went nonresponsive. Reloading the page did not help. I have not had this issue with any other BGG games, so I don't think its the connection. I checked my internet speed and it was excellent, other websites had no problem loading.

This happened to me upon initiation of a new game. It occurred 3 times within a span of about 15 minutes today. I didn’t even know the games had loaded for my opponents. And I never received the usual notice, “oops. It looks like you were unable to finish a game.” All of a sudden my karma, which was 100% is now 50%. That stinks.
Below is the error message I got.
An important BGA module could not be found, and your game cannot be loaded.
You should try refreshing this page.
You may also try to switch to another language (English) as it may solve the issue.

I agree with player catdad225. The same thing happened to me. The red outline on my screen didn't move, and then everything froze, including the countdown clock. I want my penalty points back. But I can tell at what point this error occurs. If I pre-set my tile on the playing field before the start of my turn. And in this case, if the previous player places his tile and blocks mine, then my game stops and I get a penalty. This has happened several times already. I played a tile too early. The game allows you to do this (which is good, though obviously you can't confirm till your turn), but there is a severe bug: if the tile clashes with a tile played by your opponent, it can lock up the game and sometimes the whole browser.
That happened for me in this game, and by the time I managed to get back control of the browser my opponent had booted me out of the game.
I don't think it's fair to penalise me for this, so If possible, please can I have the penalty revoked.

People are reporting the same problem I had, the game became unresponsive and I tried to make my move, I refreshed several times and it wouldn't let me place I tile. I got penalised! This isn't fair. My internet was fine, I had played Catan before and I played Catan afterwards with no problems.

Game became unresponsive, kept getting a message about the waiting on server, only played about 3 moves and got the message consistently, including another saying move was being recorded, then it wasn't, and I'd be back where I started. Couldn't play, timed out, and was expelled from the game. Same thing happened recently, so I'm down 20 ELO points. VERY FRUSTRATING and seems unfair. It was game #431900839.

Une fois ma tuile posée, l'interface me demandait de confirmer l'emplacement, quand je cliquais pour confirmer, il s'affichait "envoi du coup au serveur" puis de nouveau je devais confirmer, etc. sans fin. I couldn't click anywhere in the app during the bug. I've tried to click all the buttons in the app and none worked, so I had to close the app. At the time the bug happened I placed my next piece in the game waiting the other player does he's move, but he placed his piece side by side I was waiting for confirm mine and when it turns to my way to play nothing else worked at the BGA app.

Table 508480627. One player using a Chromebook got messages saying that their move was being recorded, then a server disconnect error. This happened after every tile or meeple placement. Their Internet connection was stable (we had a video call between us all while this was happening). They could only play by pressing F5 every time a tile or meeple was placed, and their timer continued until the game reloaded. They reported that this happened in a previous Carcasonne game, but no other BGA games (verified, as we play regularly).
At one point, a second player using Firefox on PC got the same error messages after placing a tile. The game then asked the first player to place a meeple, instead of the second player (illegal move). Both these players screens then went blank and both had to press F5 before the game would continue.
A third player (also Firefox on PC) was not affected at all.

I couldn't see the tile (it was invisible), every avaible move was highlighted, when I tried to place the tile randomely it did nothing, tried refreshing the page and quitting the website to come back to the game multiple times.

Game froze with the appearance that another player had passed the time limit as I was being prompted to skip the player several times. Apparently they had taken their move and I was the one who ran out of time unknowingly and was booted from the game.

For the first table Id the game froze and the entire tab went unresponsive until the match ended.

I had to click a dozen of times on each button before the game responded, which took a lot of time and ended up with my clock going red. It is not a fair penalty since I was trying to make my move immediately when it was my turn. Please remove this penalty from my account.

Same here. it's happened on several games lately; I thought it may be my network connection, but unsure because a speed check checked out okay. I refresh the page and it seems to reset all but two of the times, but I have run out of time a few times because of this and then my reputation has become penalized. How do we overcome the time penalties if this happens? Is there a certain number of games (i.e. 100) or days (i.e. 30) before the penalty falls off? This also seems to be happening frequently when trying to start games, and then error messages come up that people haven't accepted or that the table is already full. No penalties here, just frustration because it tends to come in waves (i.e. 5-8 game starts in a row before a success). Again, refreshing can help sometimes, but not reliably.

I reproduced this bug successfully several times. Yeah this affected my carma reputation but anyways.
So, first you have to pick your next tile during someone else's turn (in my last game I had 3 available options). Place the selected tile on the board and wait to confirm your choice. IF the player before your turn place a tile that changes the board situation in a way that makes your selected tile impossible to be placed, the result is a game freeze for you. Most probably the game is not updating the map situation for all your available tiles or the refresh is not working correctly.

Ontem à noite, por duas vezes seguidas, durante o jogo o site ficou fora do ar. Testei outras páginas e todas funcionavam, apenas o BGA não. Não consegui acessar o jogo e fui penalizado duas vezes, gostaria que as penalizações e resultados dos jogos não fossem combutadas.
